ArthroLearn was started by Dr Shammas and his Team in 2020 with the sole purpose of imparting knowledge and giving individualised hands-on training to the upcoming Orthopedic surgeons who are interested in specialising in arthroscopic surgery.

Worldwide, Arthroscopic surgery training has traditionally been imparted through cadaveric workshops which are not readily available to many orthopedic surgeons amidst their busy practice. With this end in mind, Dr. Shammas and his team has developed a wet arthroscopic simulator model of the knee; THE ARTHROKNEE for the purpose of giving real-time experience of arthroscopic surgery which is readily accessible to an interested candidate any month of the year.  

Arthro learn also attempts to impart updated knowledge and training in the ever changing and improving field of knee arthroscopy.

Knee arthroscopy is a rapidly developing field with the advent of newer techniques and implants every few months. It is therefore difficult for practising Orthopedic surgeons  to keep themselves updated by visiting centers of excellence abroad.

Therefore Dr. Shammas has come up with this concept of training young talents by making use of indigenously developed technology in the form of and harnessing the enormous potential of our own teachers.

 

Leading orthopedic practitioners are brought in for every course who would share their tips and tricks to the trainees.

The delegates could thus enhance and improve their skills in the arthroscopic surgery of the knee.
