Bucket handle tear and Acl tear

Whenever a bucket handle tear is suspected, a chronic ACL rupture should be excluded. Some ACL tears that are not physically disabling will lead to either peripheral tear of posterior horn of medial meniscus (RAMP lesion) or an incomplete longitudinal tear that progresses to a complete longitudinal tear and a finally a displaced bucket handle tear.
